YOUth LEADing Everywhere Abstaining From Drugs
Middle School Conference for Students and Advisors
Monday March 23, 2008 at MIAA, 33 Forge Parkway, Franklin 9:00 am—2:00 PM Registration and breakfast at 8:15
Conference Objective: Supporting and empowering drug-free youth; a population that has often been ignored in a culture that reflects use of alcohol and other drugs by adolescents as the norm.
Who Can Participate?
* Youth who are committed to a lifestyle free of alcohol and other drug use
* Drug-free high school students and their advisors:
* Members of existing youth groups who choose to be drug-free
Activities are Fun and Energizing and Include:
* Motivational speakers
* Youth mentors
* Small group discussions
* Role-playing
* Action planning
Program Fee of 10.00 includes food, program manual, materials, and supplies. Space is limited.
